Today has been one of the longest days, begining to put together concept levels and images, I have made a basic level with the main charater movement, the level is a basic birds eye view of a carpark surrounded by buildings in which our hero may move around, nothing to complex but gives a basic over view of how the player moves around and what the mnain game will look like. I've also began writing up my second proposal for my game however am a little unsure on all the details and so researching into it a little more. I found it difficult desinging the wall of my game as the buildings were fairly big so they did not match the regular scale I was used to, meaning i had to tweak the entire code, however once I had done so it did work fairly well an dlook rather good. I do need to refine the prototype and create some concept drawings of the charaters and zombies. Im still fairly unsure of what my second idea will be but I had a few solid ideas.

Beginning my Proposals

Today I finally began doing my proposals, for my three titles, I also took the time to research into other mobile games and flash games to see what I should aim for when it comes to graphics and controls. It 'seems' simple, however actually making such a game is far from simple it seems, getting a little worried about getting into it as I'm not hugely up on programming and Im by far the next Da Vinc

Continuing my Flash Crafting

Today I read through my clients reply about the questions I had previously sent to him such as could. I have a exact age range for my game', thanks to this I have managed to enchance my breif to fit his answers and begin researching into PEGI +7 games. I have continued creation of a difficult flash platformer including lava blocks and transport blocks. It didnt go as well as I had hoped. I've also been set an essay today, within this essy we need to how storyline has evolved through the years of games development. I'm looking forward to dreaming up a storyline for my game, this way I can let my imagination run wild.

Introduction

When it comes to programming I do not have a huge amount of experience, I have dabbled in flash once or twice since around 4 weeks ago I hadn't touched it for around 2 years or so. So far I’ve managed to make a simple game of pong which I tweaked to make it a 4 player game of doubles tennis in which each player could use a racket each or one person could control either pair as one mirror the other.

When it comes to creating a flash game I'm looking forward to detailing the actual storyline and characters making my imagination real is an awesome aspect as I have literally hundreds of ideas and will be more than passionate about transferring them from my head onto paper and then hopefully onto the screen.

There are several things I'm not looking forward to, the first being the actual programming its not easy in the slightest and although I will give it my best shot I do find it difficult fingers crossed I can get the hang of it. I'm also not looking forward to the art side, I love to draw but I’m no Picasso in fact quite the opposite it's another factor I will need to spend some time on improving.

Today other than making this blog I’ve been looking over how to make a simple 2D shooter and fixed a few bugs in my pong game nothing boundary breaking however a little closer to my goal. Today has been manageable nothing overly complicated or hard just getting more excited about getting stuck into the task at hand!

I have got to begin my presentation on how to adhere to a brief and read though my assignment documents more thoroughly than I have done so far.
